Abstract:

The problem of incompressible immiscible two phase displacement with multi-components in porous media, which arises from chemical flooding in oil recovery, is considered. Mathematical model including pressure equation, concentration equation for components and saturation equation for water phase arising from conservation of components in water phase is provied. A sequential implicit difference scheme is established. Some typical simulation experiments are implemented for polymer-surfactant flooding. The proposed implicit method is more stable and efficient than the traditional methods of implicit-pressure-explicit-concentration.
