Coordination strategy and social responsibility of product service supply chain under retailer provides extended warranty service

Abstract: Focused on the social responsibility problem of products service supply chain, a two level product service supply chain model was developed. The following four cases are analyzed and compared: the retailer implement CRS behavior of products or service alone, the manufacturer and the retailer implement CRS behavior together, the manufacturer implement CRS behavior of products or service alone and centralized decision. The conclusions show that the contract can not only achieve cooperation, improve the consumer surplus. Improving product surplus and service residual concern can increase the profits of supply chain enterprises in most cases. Finally, a numerical example is used to analyze the differences between consumers product surplus, consumers service surplus and the total surplus in the four scenarios.
