Abstract:

This paper studies capillary number and residual oil saturation curve and relative permeability curve of SP flooding. Based on experimental curve, the mathematical description of capillary number and residual saturation curve is proposed. On this new description and in collaboration with mathematical model of software UTCHEM, this paper proposes a new mathematical description of relative permeability curves in addition, which treat capillary value as a variable and applies to a kind of simulation software successfully. Some typical simulation experiments indicate that the numerical simulation which applies new description of capillary number and residual oil saturation curve and relative permeability curve can reflect the mechanism and discipline of SP flooding more accurate.
