Abstract:

SSR markers were used to analyze the fingerprinting of hybrid cotton variety Lu 05H9 with red-corolla marker trait. Lu 05H9 and its parents were amplified with 98 pairs of core primers with high polymorphisms and good repeatability. Out of them, 12 paris were detected to be polymorphic between the two parents, which were codominant markers since they amplified the different fragments between the two parents and heterozygosis bands in F1. Fingerprints of Lu05H9 were constructed with the amplification result of the 12 paris primers. It provides a method for seed genuineness and purity detection of hybrids. Due to its fast readability and large storage capacity, DNA fingerprinting of Lu05H9 is in favor of commercial applications.
