Prisoner's dilemma game of two-species with the strong Allee effect

Abstract: The strong Allee effect is introduced into the prisoner's dilemma game of two-species to establish the prisoner's dilemma game with strong Allee effect. Numerical simulation is used to investigate the game of two-species without Allee effect and with Allee effect. The results show that, Allee effect significantly affects the relationship of cooperation and deception. The defection population will be extinction under the Allee effect, and extinct more and more earlier while the Allee effect is more and more stronger. The influence of Allee effect is not large on the cooperation population when the death rate of cooperation population is relatively lesser. However, the species will be extinction when the Allee effect of cooperation population is increased. The Allee effect will also lead the two-species to extinct, and the defection population is extinction before the cooperation population. Through the analysis of simulation diagram, two-species can achieve coexistence with impulsive increasing the birth rate of species. The results have important theoretical guidance to protect the species diversity and build the nature reserve.
